Ethical Development of Startups and Ventures: Bridging Economics, Ethics, and Entrepreneurship

Join us from 3:30-5pm on Friday, November 7th in Hariri 160 for a panel discussion and networking event with The Hilltop Microfinance Initiative. The HMFI, in partnership with the Georgetown Institute for the Study of Markets and Ethics (GISME), aims to host an event to provide students, faculty, and real practitioners with new perspectives on ethical business development, featuring insights from economists, nonprofit practitioners, and academic professors, with space for interdisciplinary dialogue.

Key guests include Dr. Faisal Ahmed (Deputy Division Chief, IMF Institute for Capacity Development; Chief Economist & Senior Advisor to Governor of Bangladesh Bank) and Shannan Herbert (CEO of Washington Area Community Investment Fund), with Georgetown Professors Mohammed Malouche and Shareen Joshi serving as faculty moderators.
